Job Title: Fluid & Cultured Production Supervisor
Location: Orrville, OH

Job Description:

Basic Function:
Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture fluid and cultured products in support of company policies, goals, and objectives in compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains current working knowledge of all equipment, products, sanitation, and procedures on the production floor.
• Directs floor operations and on-the-job training of production associates to ensure quality and food safety.
• Assists with duties to maintain operations in all areas of production including; dock, cooler, blowmold, cultured department or fillers.
• Monitors product waste and production inefficiencies.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiencies.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems.
• Communicates, verbally or written, with other departments, teams, and associates at all levels.
• Implement and support lean program.
• Understand and abide by IMS and state health regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Directly supervises associates in the fluid and cultured departments.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A) or 3-5 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point, Salient, AX, and internet communications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, including written and oral presentations skills.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
• Ability to develop and implement innovative ideas.
• Quality orientation.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Willing to travel.

Reports To:
• Fluid & Cultured Production Superintendent.

Days and Hours:
• Monday through Saturday, Sundays as needed, alternating days off.

• Evenings and Swing
