Ruggles Lowfat Greek Frozen Yogurt Is A Tart ‘N Tangy Treat!
ORRVILLE, Ohio—When Dairy Enterprises Inc. rolled out its new Ruggles® Lowfat Greek Frozen Yogurt line, they stayed true to consumer trends in the dairy case, where Greek yogurt has now become a staple. Refrigerated Greek yogurts served up the flavor inspirations for Ruggles, which created Original Tart, Vanilla Bean, Peach, Honey, Blueberry, and Strawberry Lowfat Greek Frozen Yogurt in pints and single-serving 4-ounce containers.
Few competitors offer Greek frozen yogurt, and those who do tend to rely on popular ice cream flavors. Ruggles expected that customers would prefer flavors that sold well in the refrigerated case, instead. If initial response is an indicator, they were right.
“Ruggles Greek Frozen Yogurt gives our customers their favorite Greek yogurt flavors in a frozen-treat that is healthful for them, but also rich and indulgent,” said Penny Baker, Director of Marketing for Ruggles.
Ruggles Lowfat Greek Frozen Yogurt is all natural and has at least twice the protein of regular frozen yogurt. It’s naturally low in fat, has no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial growth hormones, and is gluten-free.
Each of the six new flavors of Ruggles Lowfat Greek Frozen Yogurt is available in pint-size containers with a Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of $4.99, and single-serving 4-ounce cups at a Suggested Retail Price of $1.49. Each single-serving cup also includes a spoon for customer convenience.
